Moving to Oregon

Portland? Beaverton? Tigard? Or elsewhere in the Willamette Valley?

So, you got a new job in Oregon and are relocating. Great! We hope you will love Oregon and the Willamette Valley as much as we do!! It is a wonderful place to live.

Soon you will be deciding where to live. Although Portland is wonderful place to live, you may want to explore the benefits of living elsewhere in the Willamette Valley.

Natural Beauty

Portland is just a short 30 miles or less commute from Woodburn and the surrounding rural towns in the Valley. (Salem is even closer.) If you don’t mind a few minutes on the road, then living outside the city may be just what you are looking for. If you are able to make an exploratory trip to Oregon, consider making a drive to some of these locations outside the metro area.

Less Expensive

Most of us love getting more for less. The average sales price in Portland and some of its neighboring communities can be as much as $30,000 to $80,000 more than similar homes in the Valley. The rural communities are less congested and offer that small town feel.

Great Options

Woodburn, Canby, Wilsonville, Newberg, Charbonneau, Aurora and many other of these unique communities may be more to your liking. Your local Realtor can help you understand what it is like living here and can give you insight to the many benefits they offer.
